Cookie policy

Version 1 ·

This is version 1, which was in force until September 26, 2026. The current one is version 5. Go to the current version

This policy explains what the pitiklini.com website and the Pitiklini app store in your browser, what they read from it, what for and for how long. It gives the information required by Article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI), following the guide on the use of cookies of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

In short

  • We use no advertising or analytics cookies, on the website or in the app, and nobody tracks you from one website to another because you visited us.
  • The website sets no cookies. It only stores in your browser the preferences you choose (theme, language and how to view the chart).
  • The app sets one cookie when you log in, so your session stays open while you use it.
  • Only two things need your permission, both in the app: recording the screen when it fails and measuring its performance. Without your permission, neither is done.

Who is responsible

PITIKLINI SOLUTION SL (Pitiklini). Its full details are in the Legal notice. You can write to us at soporte@pitiklini.com.

What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser, which the browser sends back to it on each visit. Local storage and session storage are similar: they keep data in your browser that the website can read later. What is in local storage stays until it is deleted; what is in session storage, until you close the tab. The law treats everything stored on or read from your device the same way, whether it is a cookie or not, so we list it all here.

What the public website stores

The website is the part of pitiklini.com you can see without logging in: the home page, markets, coin profiles, products, help and the legal texts.

What the app stores

The app is the part of pitiklini.com where you log in to trade.

While the previous app is still in use, it also stores in your browser:

The previous app also requests typefaces, styles and icons from jsDelivr, cdnfonts and Font Awesome, and prices from CryptoCompare when you post a P2P ad. They store nothing in your browser, but they receive your IP address, as any website you visit does. The new app does not use them.

What we only do with your permission

Two things, both in the app and each with its own box:

  • Recording the screen when it fails. For some failures, a recording of the screen from the minute before the error is sent to Sentry, with all text, everything you type and all images masked before they leave your device. It is used to understand and fix the failure.
  • Measuring performance. How long screens take to load and respond, and an anonymous count of sessions for each version, are sent to Sentry even when nothing fails. It is used to see what is slow and fix it.

How the permission works:

  • Only what you accept in the app is done, where accepting and refusing are offered with equal prominence. Until you accept, nothing is done or stored for it.
  • If you say no, everything works the same.
  • If you accept, you will be able to withdraw it at any time in the app's privacy settings, as easily as you gave it.
  • Your answer is valid for 24 months at most: after that we will ask you again.

Nothing else in these tables needs your permission, because it is necessary to provide the service you ask for or it stores a preference you choose (LSSI, Article 22(2)).

Third parties involved

  • Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) receives error reports and, with your permission, recordings and performance measurements, on Pitiklini's behalf and only for that purpose. The data is in the European Union (Frankfurt). More detail in the Privacy policy.
  • The service provider shows your identity verification and some payments on its own screen: its own cookie policy applies there.
  • No social network or advertising company places or reads anything on your device through Pitiklini.

How to change your choice or delete this data

  • Screen recording and performance measurement, in the app's privacy settings, if you accepted them.
  • Theme and language, with their selectors, in the website header.
  • Everything else, by clearing the site's data in your browser. Each browser's help explains how: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you do, you will lose your preferences and your session will be closed.

Your personal data

How we process the data resulting from all this (error reports, recordings, measurements or your session), on what legal basis, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights is set out in the Privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove anything from these tables, we publish a new version with its date and a summary of what changes; earlier versions remain available at the bottom of this page. If anything new needs your permission, we will ask for it before using it.

Versions of this document

Each change is published as a new version, with the date it takes effect. Previous versions are kept exactly as they were published.

  1. Version 5 · · current

The app no longer records the screen when a failure occurs or measures its performance, so it no longer asks whether you accept them: nothing described in this policy requires your consent. The choice you stored about those two uses, the recording identifier and the performance measurement are removed from the tables; the app deletes anything left of them from your browser the next time you open it. Error reports are unchanged.

  2. Version 4 ·

Two cookies that the app sets when you log in are added, neither of which requires your consent: one that recognises your browser so that we can alert you by email if someone logs in to your Account from a new one, which cannot be used to log in and does not skip any verification step, and one with no data that tells the website that you are logged in, so that its header shows you the way to your account. The preferences stored by the app are also added: the collapsed sidebar, hiding balances and those of Trade. And, if you clear the site data, at your next login we will alert you as if you were logging in from a new browser.

  3. Version 3 ·

It is clarified that Sentry receives the IP address with each error report, although it is configured not to store it, and it is explained that visits to the website are counted with our own server logs, without storing or reading anything in your browser.

  4. Version 2 ·

Drafting review: formal register, defined terms and a clearer presentation of who provides each service. Rights and obligations do not change.

  5. Version 1 ·

    First published version.
