Cookie policy

Version 3 ·

This is version 3, which was in force until October 4, 2026. The current one is version 5. Go to the current version

What changes in this version: It is clarified that Sentry receives the IP address with each error report, although it is configured not to store it, and it is explained that visits to the website are counted with our own server logs, without storing or reading anything in your browser.

This policy explains what information the pitiklini.com website and the Pitiklini app (together, the "Platform") store in your browser. It also explains what information they read from it, for what purpose and for how long. It provides the information required by Article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI). It also follows the criteria of the Guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

What are the key points of this policy?

  • The Platform does not use advertising or analytics cookies, either on the website or in the app, and visiting it does not allow anyone to track your browsing from one website to another.
  • The website does not set any cookies or ask for your consent, because it does not use anything that requires it. It only stores in your browser the preferences you choose: the theme, the language and how the chart is displayed.
  • Visits to the website are counted with our own server's logs, with the IP address truncated: nothing is stored in or read from your browser for this.
  • The app sets one cookie when you log in, to keep your session open while you use it.
  • Only two uses require your consent, both in the app: recording the screen when a failure occurs and measuring the performance of the app. Neither is carried out without your consent.

Who is responsible for the use of cookies?

The entity responsible is PITIKLINI SOLUTION SL ("Pitiklini", "we", "us" or "our"), the owner of the Pitiklini brand and of the Platform. Pitiklini's full identification details are set out in the Legal notice. You may contact us at soporte@pitiklini.com.

What are cookies and browser storage?

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in the browser and that the browser sends back to that website on each visit. Local storage and session storage serve a similar purpose: they keep data in the browser that the website can read later. Data in local storage remains until it is deleted; data in session storage remains until the tab is closed. The LSSI applies the same rules to everything stored on or read from your device, whether or not it is a cookie. For that reason, this policy describes all of it.

What does the public website store in your browser?

The website is the part of pitiklini.com that can be viewed without logging in: the home page, markets, coin profiles, products, help and the legal texts.

Visit statistics. To know how many visits the website receives and which pages are viewed, we count the requests recorded by our own server, with the IP address truncated before they are counted. Nothing is stored in or read from your browser, and no third party is involved. The Privacy policy explains this processing and how to object to it.

What does the app store in your browser?

The app is the part of pitiklini.com where you trade after logging in.

While the previous version of the app remains in use, it also stores the following in your browser:

The previous version of the app also requests typefaces, styles and icons from jsDelivr, cdnfonts and Font Awesome, and prices from CryptoCompare when you post a P2P listing. These services store nothing in your browser, but they receive your IP address, as does any website you visit. The new app does not use them.

There are two uses, both in the app, and each has its own box:

  • Screen recording when a failure occurs. For some failures, a recording of the screen from the minute before the error is sent to Sentry. All text, everything you type and all images are masked before they leave your device. The recording is used to understand and fix the failure.
  • Performance measurement. The load and response times of the screens, and an anonymous count of the sessions of each version, are sent to Sentry even when no failure occurs. This is used to detect what is slow and fix it.

How consent is given and withdrawn:

  • Only what you accept within the app is carried out, where the options to accept and to refuse are offered with equal prominence. Until you accept, nothing is carried out or stored for that purpose.
  • If you refuse, the app works in the same way.
  • If you accept, you may withdraw your consent at any time in the app's privacy settings, as easily as you gave it.
  • Your answer will remain valid for a maximum of 24 months. After that period, we will ask you to choose again.

Nothing else in these tables requires your consent, because it is necessary to provide the service you request or it stores a preference you choose (Article 22(2) of the LSSI).

Which third parties are involved?

  • Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) receives error reports and, with your consent, screen recordings and performance measurements. It processes them on Pitiklini's behalf and solely for that purpose. The data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt). The Privacy policy provides further information.
  • DEPASIFY S.L. displays user identity verification and some payments on its own screen. That entity's cookie policy applies on that screen.
  • No social network or advertising company places or reads anything on your device through the Platform.

How can you change your choice or delete this data?

  • Screen recording and performance measurement: in the app's privacy settings, if you accepted them.
  • Theme and language: with the selectors in the website header.
  • Everything else: by clearing the site data in your browser. Each browser's help explains how to do so: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you do so, you will lose your preferences and your session will be closed.

How is your personal data processed?

The Privacy policy explains how we process the personal data resulting from these uses (error reports, recordings, measurements or your session) and from the visit statistics. It also explains the legal basis for the processing, how long we keep the data and how you can exercise your rights.

How is this policy updated?

If we add or remove any item from these tables, we will publish a new version with its date and a summary of the changes. Earlier versions will remain available at the bottom of this page. If a new item requires your consent, we will ask for it before using it.

Versions of this document

Each change is published as a new version, with the date it takes effect. Previous versions are kept exactly as they were published.

  1. Version 5 · · current

The app no longer records the screen when a failure occurs or measures its performance, so it no longer asks whether you accept them: nothing described in this policy requires your consent. The choice you stored about those two uses, the recording identifier and the performance measurement are removed from the tables; the app deletes anything left of them from your browser the next time you open it. Error reports are unchanged.

  2. Version 4 ·

Two cookies that the app sets when you log in are added, neither of which requires your consent: one that recognises your browser so that we can alert you by email if someone logs in to your Account from a new one, which cannot be used to log in and does not skip any verification step, and one with no data that tells the website that you are logged in, so that its header shows you the way to your account. The preferences stored by the app are also added: the collapsed sidebar, hiding balances and those of Trade. And, if you clear the site data, at your next login we will alert you as if you were logging in from a new browser.

  3. Version 3 ·

It is clarified that Sentry receives the IP address with each error report, although it is configured not to store it, and it is explained that visits to the website are counted with our own server logs, without storing or reading anything in your browser.

  4. Version 2 ·

Drafting review: formal register, defined terms and a clearer presentation of who provides each service. Rights and obligations do not change.

  5. Version 1 ·

    First published version.
