Security
What the platform does to protect your account and what you can do. These are specific measures: none of them protects you from the risk of crypto prices falling.
Your account
Password
Between 8 and 128 characters. The most common ones and those found in known data breaches are not accepted.
Two-step verification
With an authenticator app. It is required to withdraw, and turning it on or off asks for your password and a code.
A code for each withdrawal
Each withdrawal asks for a code sent to your email that only works for that withdrawal, besides the one from your app.
Limited attempts
After several failed sign-in attempts, the account is locked for a while.
Sessions that expire
Sessions expire on their own, and changing or resetting your password signs out all of them.
Notices
We tell you in your account and by email if your password or your two-step verification changes. We also do if someone signs in from a browser or device you hadn’t used before.
Anti-phishing code
A code you choose that appears in Pitiklini emails, to tell them apart from imitations.
Your money and your crypto
- The service provider holds them.
- Withdrawals may be reviewed before they leave, and larger ones need the approval of two team members.
What you can do
- Turn on two-step verification and the anti-phishing code.
- Always type pitiklini.com to sign in, instead of following links in messages.
- Never share your codes: nobody from Pitiklini will ask you for them.
- Check the address and the network before withdrawing: a transfer to the wrong address cannot be undone.
- In a peer-to-peer trade, do not release the crypto until you see the money in your account.
If you see something suspicious
If you think someone got into your account, change your password: all sessions will be signed out. And write to us at soporte@pitiklini.com. If you have found a security flaw in the platform, tell us at the same address.
